In collaboration with the AbilitiesMe Conference and Exhibition, the Future Centre held its second edition of Skills Challenge 2015 on March 26, 2016, the third day of AbilitiesMe at the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Centre. At least 100 students participated in the nine vocational skill area competitions, such as word processing, powerpoint, photography, henna design, embroidery, flower arrangement, painting and jewellery making. Winners were awarded with medals.

There were 12 centres from around the UAE that participated, namely: Al Noor Center – Abu Dhabi, Al Noor Training Centre For Children with Special Needs – Dubai, Dubai Centre for Special Needs, Emirates Autism Centre, Rashid Centre for Disability – Dubai, Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services – Sharjah, Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services/ Khorfacan, Special Care Centre, Zayed Higher Organization (ZHO) – Abu Dhabi, Zayed Higher Organization – Al Ain Center, Zayed Higher Organization (ZHO)—Al Qua’a Centre for Special Needs People and the Future Centre.
